Saturday 27 August 11am - 7pm
Noosa Woods Parkland, Hastings Street

The Festival is located in the Noosa Woods parkland at the end of Hastings Street with an amazing backdrop of the Noosa River. There is one main pedestrian entry gate into the Festival which is located adjacent to Claude Batten Drive.

PARKING

Due to the popularity of the location, parking in the vicinity can be challenging with some free parking available off Claude Batten Drive throughout the Noosa Woods precinct. If driving, please be mindful of residents and businesses in the area and park only where legally permitted, whilst taking note of street and regulatory signage.

Festival-goers are encouraged to consider alternative transport options including parking outside of the precinct and travelling to the Festival on alternative transport including public transport, taxi or rideshare or the Noosa Ferry. Parking is available at Noosa Junction where you can catch the free bus from the Noosa Junction Bus Station to the Festival. Plan your journey on Translink’s Journey Planner.

Public Transport

Leave the car at home and take advantage of the free weekend bus services to travel to and from the Festival. The Noosa Heads Bus Station is located a short 8 minute walk to the Festival site on the corner of Noosa Parade and Noosa Drive.

The free buses include travel on Translink services 626, 627, 628, 629 and 632 which covers Tewantin, Sunshine Beach, Sunrise Beach, Noosa Heads, Noosa Parklands, Noosa Junction, Noosaville, Cooran, Cooroy and Pomona. You can view the bus timetable and plan your journey on Translink’s Journey Planner.

Please note that travel on bus routes 620, 630 and 631 are not included in the free service.

Taxi & Rideshare

Taxis and Rideshares are a great alternative to driving. A designated taxi rank is available on Noosa Drive at the entrance to Hastings Street, a short 6 minute walk to the Festival site.

FERRY

Avoid the parking hassles and arrive in style with a trip on the Noosa Ferry. The Festival’s location next to the Noosa River allows easy access from the Ferry stop at the Hastings Street Sofitel Jetty. The Ferry runs regular services between Noosa Marina in Tewantin and Hastings Street with stops along the Noosa River. View the timetable and book your ticket at www.noosaferry.com

Get Involved

Come join la famiglia and express an interest in one of our many volunteer opportunities. We promise to reward your efforts with pizza, pasta (or perhaps coffee and cannoli is your thing?) plus an Italian Food & Vino T-Shirt. Express your interest here.

SUSTAINABILITY

The Italian Food & Vino Festival recognises that events are often one of the biggest creators of single-use plastic waste, and we are committed to evolving our systems and operations in the pursuit of a more sustainable festival. This journey will be ongoing, as we continue to create tangible actions that limit our environmental impact. Part of that journey is engaging our patrons to take action with us. Here's some things you can do.

Reuse Your Cup

If you’re drinking at the Festival, please consider reusing your cup and ensure you place it in the cup deposit bin when you’re finished.

Catch the Bus

Translink offers free weekend bus travel within the Noosa Shire. Buses will arrive at the Noosa Heads Bus Interchange on the corner of Noosa Parade and Noosa Drive, which is a short walk from the Festival Village. Refer to our arriving page for more details including bus timetables.

BYO Drink Bottle

Drink bottle refill water stations will be provided at the Festival, to prevent single use plastic bottles.

Fly Carbon Neutral

For those flying to attend the Italian Food & Vino Festival, airlines offer the option to fly carbon neutral as a way to offset carbon emissions. Your carbon offset contribution is donated to approved abatement projects under the Australian Government’s Climate Active Program.

Trees for Tourism

To help in the mission to protect Noosa’s pristine environment for generations to come, we are proud to support the Trees for Tourism program, a partnership between Tourism Noosa and Noosa & District Landcare where $1 from every paying event participant is donated to the program and its projects.
